English.png English translation

I will escape from so much Love,
That the passion will diminish,
The flames and the chains,
That hold this soul in so much pain.
I will escape so much,
That my weeping will cease,
The knot, the bow, the arrow,
That keeps this soul in sore and deadly pain.
I will escape the strong lace,
And I will set me free,
Not my escape I repent,
Nor diminishing the passion I feel in my heart.
I will escape therefore my Love,
Free from the fierce passion,
And I will say by escaping:
"Woman, you are the cause of my martyrdom"
